The River Country Journal is an 'online publication' with a focus on St. Joseph County, known as 'River Country' for its many rivers and streams.  Appropriating based in Three Rivers, it's a website with news, information and features - including 'podcasts' - all of which are aimed at "Celebrating and nurturing life in Southwest Michigan's River Country."

The River Country Journal is published and edited by Bruce Snook, a veteran journalist with 25 years of experience in radio broadcasting, 15 years as president & CEO of the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, and a long history of involvement in a variety of community organizations and projects.

River Country Journal readers are encouraged to participate in the publication by commenting on stories and submitting items for publication on the website at www.rivercountryjournal.com.

The River Country Journal was launched on April 25, 2008 and new content has been added every day since then.
