My mission is to educate and help protect Americans from the devastating costs of long-term care. Families may not realize how important long-term care insurance is until they are uninsurable or actually need long-term care. I don't want that to happen to you! As a Long Term Care Protective Planning Specialist, I "ONLY" specialize in long-term care insurance. I wear only one hat! I offer the most affordable and comprehensive plans in the market place for individuals, associations, or employer groups and believe in choice! I do not have an allegiance to any insurance company or to fill any quota's, my allegiance is to you my "CLIENT" to help assist you in designing the proper plan for you, your family or your business.

I have coined three phrases, "Don't let your assets be Erased, put your Long-Term Care Insurance in Place!" or "As you age - Your Health Changes - What is Your Plan?" and "Don't be denied by living in Denial!" which directly explains what can happen to a persons retirement portfolio without the proper planning. I am a Long Term Care Insurance "Specialist" (CLTC) granted by the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification. This designation is recognized by the Michigan Insurance Commissioner's Office, and is editorially and financially independent of the long-term care insurance industry. Michigan will soon enter as a "Partnership Program State", with over 34 other states who have implemented this program, please visit: http://www.dehpg.net/ltcpartnership. This means that by law anyone who sells a long term care insurance plan, will be required to take a Michigan State special accredited class in order to continue to sell any form of Long Term Care Insurance. I have already taken this class in 2008, and I am just awaiting Lansing to get its act together.

In Michigan, I have taken my role another step further by not being an agent, but I am a recognized "Specialist!" who keeps up to date with top United States resources and professionals, who help to report to me top LTC changes that will affect how I design your plan. I worked for three years on the "Own Your Future!" campaign to help 1.5 million Michiganders between 45-65 get a personal letter in 2006 from our very own Governor, Jennifer Granholm, on the importance to getting your Long Term Care Plan in place while you are healthy!

Long Term Care is a family issue and I believe in the powerful words of; "FAMILY LOVE!" In order to help take care of that loved one in a better environment is what Long Term Care is all about - it is called "CHOICE!" As a Broker, I can help individuals, families, and Business Owners with customized group plans with the top companies our country has to offer.

In the community I have taken on the role as the "Executive Director" to the PR Alliance of Greater Michigan, (www.PRA-MI.com) which is a diversified group of trustworthy, ethical and competent professionals with over 30+ years of experience in helping our older Americans to continue to age in place. We provide a centralized source for a wide variety of senior-specific services! We are a nationally formed organization and we have the ability to be with you and your family where ever you plan to retire.

When I am not working, I enjoy my ten year old son Peter, who is into travel hockey, tennis, baseball and golf - however, watch out Detroit Red Wings! When I am not being Super Mom, I love to golf individually for charitable events and I have worked closely for the last 8 years with the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Michigan Chapter to raising funds to help find a cure! As a Harley Davidson owner, I like to travel through our great American lands and have personally rode and attended the Rolling Thunder, Washington, DC event., and belong to the Motor City Chapter. My personal expertise has been focused on 69.9am, Comcast Newsmakers, WRIF, WJR, WOW Cable Hometown Network, and Channel 4 WDIV just to name a few. My presence is at many local expos/fairs with my own booth or can be seen with the PRA of Greater Michigan and finally I am the Host and Event Coordinator for the Gala I created entitled, "An Evening Under the Stars, Living Longer & Loving It!"(TM) Which has lead me to own a national US Trademark, "Living Longer & Loving It"(TM)   Whew! There is much more I do in my community but this I hope gives the hint of Loving My Country, My Seniors, and my passion to help America's Future!

Life Changing Insurance

I never thought of aging and needing a plan to protect my life, choices, and assets as I aged. I could not imagine not having my Long Term Care Insurance in place, especially after I just got done taking care of my Mother who suffered from the Alzheimer's disease. It was overwhelming as a caregiver and the loss of all those assets. I do not want to make the same mistake!
